The Best Water Table Accessories
Here is a list of top water table accessories perfect for spring and summer outdoor sensory play!
Water tables and water play can be a good sensory activity for your toddler, but these water table accessories will extend their play time and make their water table that much more fun!
Multi-Level Water Table
If you are looking for a water table, I highly recommend this one that has multiple levels for hours of play! We have had this water table for many years and it has stood up to the elements and multiple toddlers playing at once.
Water Table Umbrella
If your water table is in the sun or you want some extra shade for your toddler, be sure to grab a water table umbrella! This one is made by the same makers of our water table and fits perfectly in one of the slots on the side of the water table.
This water table umbrella also folds down and stores nicely when not in use!
Water Table Pump
This is the one single item that has dramatically increased the fun factor of our water table! I cannot recommend it enough and its so easy to set up and operate. However, you do need to plug this into an outlet, so you will want to make sure you have outdoor outlets near your water table.
I love this one because you can move and maneuver it around your water table depending on how your toddler is playing and where they are standing.
Reusable Water Balloons
Another summer item and water table accessory that is totally worth the hype! We have had these for two years now and they get so much use, especially from my 4 and 5 year old.
They are a fun addition to your water table, because this gives your toddler easy access to fill them themselves without an additional bucket or tub of water.
Bath Toy Boats
We keep these boats outside with our water table all the time, but you can also bring some of the bath toys you already have outside and use them in your water table as well! I love this set because it includes 10 boats which is enough for all my kids to play with together.
Water Table Cover
Finally, when you are done playing, don’t forget to keep your water table clean by using a water table cover. You can use this in between plays or use it to cover your water table during the fall and winter to keep it cleaner and ready to us again next season!
More Fun Ways to Play with your Water Table
Upgrading your water table with these fun accessories will increase the fun factor and lead to hours of outdoor sensory water play for your toddler! But if you are looking for even more fun ideas for hour to play with your water table, these are some of my favorites:
- Let your kids paint the water table
- Use simple soap and scrub brushes to have your toddler scrub and clean the water table
- Create a toys wash to wash toys with soap and scrub brushes
- Fill with shaving cream for more sensory play
- Fill with water beads (always supervise your toddler with water beads)
- Let your toddler add rocks and leaves, along with water to make a water table pond
